I think that should work. I know the area a bit and also know farms where additional residential buildings (either for the children or for the elderly farmers) have been built. Although I wouldn't start a big fight over the land prices if the municipality / LRA does object. It might even be quite attractive to have at least a little distance from the operation and/or the family.

When separating, people are then very keen to buy it out and keep the house in the family so that no outsider moves in. I always find that somewhat delicate.

Thanks in advance for your experiences.
We currently live in a rental apartment in the neighboring town, but I am still registered at home, meaning on the company premises, in other words I still "live" there.

You are of course right about the prices and the distance to the company, but for us the main reason for building on the farm is that we would have a beautiful location and that neither of us are the type of people who absolutely have to live in a housing development.

Are there perhaps a few more opinions?

Opinions are of no use to you, only reliable legal advice is.
Not to the blacksmith's apprentice when you need the blacksmith!

Building in outdoor areas requires much more precise knowledge, which can neither be gathered in a forum nor for free. That is correct. Based on the initial information, I share 's assessment that it is feasible. If you are a member of an agricultural chamber, you should make an appointment for advice there, as not every planner is familiar with the privileges for farmers and the proof of requirements needed to obtain a permit. It would be unfortunate if it fails due to certain wording or simply because your training is not yet completed or you cannot prove sufficient income from agriculture.
