Construction costs/architects significantly exceeded, who is liable?

@Bauqualle, maybe I’m misunderstanding, but actually Maike wrote everything understandably?!?

"Planned costs 220,000 € (pure interior finishing 175,000€ + new garage 25,000€ + full insulation 20,000€)" Recorded 250,000 € including 30,000 € buffer.

But now JUST THE INTERIOR FINISHING has already been offered for 225,000 €. Here the estimate is off by 50,000 €! Isn't that "significantly exceeded"? Plus garage + insulation (values see above) = already 270,000 €! The buffer is gone before it even started... And Maike wrote, there’s not even an offer yet for garage and insulation. End open...

Before you invest a lot of money - no one here knows exactly which wording you agreed upon with your architect - go to the architects' chamber responsible for your architect and get advice there; they have dedicated staff for this. But please bring the contract you signed with your architect.
