Can someone tell me when I have to provide the own work? Does that happen when digging for the house?

I’m currently considering whether the crew that digs out the basement can do it, or maybe a landscaper?! Or I myself with a mini excavator.

Statement from our construction company: We will start when the construction road is in place because the path for excavators, excavation, fill sand, concrete pump, construction vehicles, deliveries of stones, roof tiles, roof truss all goes to the construction site, nothing will be carried 60m in from the road Nida

It entirely depends on the conditions of your property. If you only have a 3m driveway that must be used by all construction vehicles, then that's not practical. If you have enough space, I would call your utility provider by phone and ask accordingly. But don't forget that the trench also has to be closed up again, and ideally, that shouldn't happen only when the landscaper arrives. It only takes one stone to fall awkwardly into the trench and damage a pipe—or in the worst case, even a cable. Although you can temporarily fix that with a shovel at first. If you hand the excavator driver 50€, he'll probably agree to dig a trench for an hour... Everything is cheaper than directly through the utility provider. Call them first. Everything else will then explain itself.

Our pipes and empty conduits were in place and the construction road was closed when the construction company started. The trench extended to the utility room, the construction road up to 2m before the future floor slab. The pipes were closed and electricity was connected at the construction power box Nida
