Hello, I would like a walk-in closet connecting the bedroom to the bathroom. I imagine it to be very practical and modern. Unfortunately, my boyfriend is totally against it because he thinks that if children were to use the bathroom, it could be noisy.

So I need arguments against that. Aren't two doors enough sound insulation?

I do not understand the connection between volume and bathroom location via the dressing room or hallway. What does he mean by loud? Playing in the tub? Arguing? Children can be taught not to shout loudly...

If the children are loud, they are also loud in another bathroom location.

If they are loud, one wonders whom they are disturbing with it?
At that time, there should be no one in the bedroom who is sleeping. The door to the bedroom should be there anyway, otherwise there will be no more children [emoji6]

The problem can be solved very easily by planning 1 children's bathroom and 1 parents' bathroom. Recommended anyway if there is more than 1 child.

Had the same thought. I find two doors in the bathroom extremely impractical. If you don’t want that, only two bathrooms or a corridor between the dressing room and the bathroom work.

I consider an airlock with clothes between the bedroom and bathroom to be unproblematic... as far as the sound is concerned

We have implemented it that way and find it practical! Are you planning with Controlled ventilation? If not, then simply use a door with a soundproof seal, if yes, then make sure overflow frames are installed. Otherwise, you can hear the flushing, etc.
