Hello,
we are currently building. Next to the residential house, there is a basement room that serves as the foundation for the garage above. The ceiling of the room (i.e., the floor of the garage) was cast with in-situ concrete C25/30.
We will build the garage itself at the earliest in one year, maybe only a carport. Until then, the concrete is exposed to the weather and has already been like that for 2 months. I have now been advised that this is not good and that I should apply a seal. UV-resistant pond liner was recommended.
Can someone here confirm this or suggest alternatives?
