Yes, a WU basement = waterproof concrete basement. This requires no additional waterproofing at a thickness of 20cm or more. Some still apply bitumen because there is still the rumor that diffusion occurs and you have higher humidity without bitumen. However, this has meanwhile been disproven by scientific experiments.
A drainage does no harm; it leads away the water that reaches the house. However, it often clogs and becomes useless or is not properly installed. Also, in my opinion, especially on a slope, you can often drain the water without drainage. And it does not harm the basement if it gets water because it is waterproof.
A masonry basement is often made of brick/Ytong etc., and these stones practically absorb water. If you have a mistake in the waterproofing (which unfortunately happens quickly), then you get wet walls/mold/plaster crumbling off. And of course extremely high humidity, and the building fabric is damaged. Such waterproofing also only lasts about 20 years; after that, you can expose the house and start over again.
In my opinion, masonry basements are no longer state of the art and one of the worst ways to try to save money. If you have to renovate here, you usually lose six-figure sums.
I come from the field and can only warn against it, there are many scammers out there...
