Hello,
And what is wrong with the experts of the Bauherren-Schutzbund?
For *me*, the Bauherren-Schutzbund is a catchment for all those who cannot gain a foothold in the private sector. So far, I know only one expert recommended by this association in my sales area who really knows his stuff; does a really good job. The others like to hide behind lengthy "assessments," where I often wonder whether they have even read the material to be inspected.
I found confirmation in an experience of a BU which I was able to win for us this week. At one of his most recent construction sites, an expert was booked through this association; as expected, the expert found a minor issue which he criticized. Unfortunately, he failed to provide his client with a written documentation. So the insecure builder stood in his shell construction (without professional support) and knew "maybe," but not "exactly," "what" the expert had criticized.
On further inquiry, the BU explained to me that it is "normal" for documentation to be available – if at all – with a considerable time delay. Interestingly, however, we share the opinion about the above-mentioned expert.
A service always costs a corresponding amount "x"; I assume – without claim to accuracy – that the problem lies in the comparatively relatively cheap option of commissioning an expert through this association. Those who suffer from this practice in the end are undoubtedly the builders; furthermore, it often leads to a strained relationship between builder and site manager. The independent experts, on the other hand, including mainly those recommended by the Association of Private Builders, act completely differently because they focus on the construction project to be supervised together and do not prioritize their own ego.
Rhenish greetings
