Good evening, according to the latest reports, the combination ban of BEG WG (i.e. KfW 261) and the funding of individual measures via BAFA is to be lifted.

Does this mean that one can claim both subsidies for the same measure (e.g. window replacement) or that only the combination of subsidies for different measures is allowed (i.e. heating via BEG WG and windows via BEG EM)?

As far as I know, only BEG individual measures and KfW358/359 can be combined. However, I am happy to be proven wrong.

In a circular dated 25.01.24, the ban was lifted. It can be found, for example, on the page of the oekozentrum NRW.

Hi,

Seriously now? That would mean I can get funding for heating upgrades from gas heating to heat pump plus photovoltaic on the roof as an energy-efficient home renovation through KFW 261 and ADDITIONALLY still receive the formerly Bafa now KFW premium for heating replacement of 40%??

That would be nice, but pretty absurd... They can't be that stupid. But I admit, I would gladly take the money.

Best regards,

Andreas

Photovoltaics are not eligible for funding via KfW 261, but that is not the point.

That is exactly my question: What exactly does KfW understand by combination? The same measure or different measures but one large project?!
An accumulation of funding is possible up to 60 percent of the funding amount, according to the information sheet...
KfW should definitely work on the clarity of their information sheets.

I am asking myself the same question. According to my bank, the kfw has not yet released any detailed information about the combination.

On the kfw website, under frequently asked questions, it still says:

Can I combine the “Wohngebäude – Kredit (261)” funding with the new heating subsidy?
Yes, you can combine the existing “Wohngebäude – Kredit (261)” funding with the new heating subsidy and carry out your projects in parallel if you meet the following conditions:

You have not yet started the project in the “Wohngebäude – Kredit (261)” program or have not yet concluded any delivery or service contract for the new heating system.
You account for the costs of the new heating system in the “Wohngebäude – Kredit (261)” program at the latest for the confirmation after completion (BnD).
Important note: The benefits for an Efficiency House Renewable Energy Class in the “Wohngebäude – Kredit (261)” program cannot be claimed with this combination.
