Color-design the house, refresh wooden windows/door

What is common in your region? In our area, the doors and shutters are traditionally iron oxide red. However, I spend enough time on Pinterest to occasionally come up with other ideas. Take a look at Farrow & Ball colors.

In our village, there are only five other houses, and they all without exception have this gray GDR plaster. Along with concrete bricks. The neighboring villages have almost everything, mostly white, gray, and yellow, but these are mostly newly built houses. I'll look into taupe, beige, and similar colors. I've also considered red for the door and windows. That would be something completely different in our region. :)

Even if Michael forgot the color film: just show what kind of house we are even talking about. It won’t be so ugly that the camera will break, but above all: which shape should even get color, you can hardly discuss that on the radio ;-)

A lot depends, as mentioned, on the style of the house. Here with us, we have an old farmhouse that is kept in a subtle - how shall I say - "old green," with white window frames. I really find that absolutely adorable. But of course, that's just my taste. Similarly, an old blue/taupe I could very well imagine for houses that have already seen a few chancellors. Many old houses here are painted light green, with white windows, sandstone cellars. Some even older houses are partially painted in a light blue.

Dark red goes very well as an accent to beige :)

Put a few pictures in and don’t worry so much. You CAN still change something, unlike some people here :D I now live in Saxony and at first the gray houses made me depressed, but by now I don’t even notice it anymore. When I go back to my old home in BaWü I see more old, ugly houses than before. It’s all a matter of perspective. Based on what I see more often, I’d guess a warm but strong color could often fit. Nothing flashy but still strong. Dare to post a picture and you’ll get good tips.
