Hello, my wife and I are currently planning our house, the square meter prices are fantastic but heating and more are problematic.

m2 price is 21€!

3 options

Bungalow without basement
Bungalow with basement
Two-story house with basement

Everything depends on the heating, choices are:
Pellets
Log wood
Wood chips
Heat pump with trench collector
Oil heating.

Gas and district heating are not available.

Since I don’t own a forest and you don't get younger, I would not choose the log wood heating.
Wood chip heating is enormously expensive (the boiler alone >20,000€)

So pellets and heat pump remain.

For the heat pump I would need underfloor heating, is that enough to heat the house?
With pellets I need a basement for storage.

Any suggestions or ideas?

No heat pumps are ever enough to heat a house... a stove is always still needed. For pellets, you urgently need 2 cellars - or a two-story cellar for an especially long conveyor belt. So you are left with only heating via the stovetop :D Forgive the introduction, but it all seems very confusing. What do you want? You want to build a house... in an area where the square meter of land costs 21 €? Okay, I understood that. What is your budget, what are your needs or your requirements for a house? You should first clarify the framework conditions and then eventually address the heating during the planning... after all, you want your house to bring you joy and not your heating system.

Uhh... I am confused!
You don't need a basement for pellets, just a few square meters of storage space (@BeHalElJa that was probably just a joke in your introduction???)

What does the property offer now? How much floor space index?? If it's enough (for how many people?), I would always plan only one level!
Is this required by the development plan??

I’m afraid you scared TE away with your jokes. But on the topic: We decided on a ground source heat pump and would do it again anytime. We heat 176m² with about 800-900 euros per year. That’s okay and a very dust-free and clean thing.
