we recently bought click parquet and would like to lay the parquet in parallel pattern, is this possible?

I suspect (!) the OP means something else, namely what is called a cross joint in tiling. As far as I know, you shouldn’t do that with a click floor under floating installation, because of stability?

No, that is not possible without weakening the stability of the connections.
