Thank you very much for the additional information and suggestions. The change of the thread title has been requested. I also initially planned to upload the pictures, but since the property is private, I wasn't quite sure if that was approved by the seller. I will inquire about it again, and if that's okay, I will add them later. It is also about roughly what should still be included in the cost calculation. Of course, that can be better assessed with pictures, that's true.

why do you want to remove the entire hedge... the advantage of a mature property is precisely that you do NOT just flatten everything. Then you also don't need to replant and wait.... of course, if trees are within the building area, they have to go - but a hedge around the outside?

I took photos from the perspectives that were freely accessible. Maybe someone can estimate the effort a bit. The shed can be seen in image 3 in the right center of the picture.

It's not about me, so I also don't have to decide. Our first thought was that the already existing hedge might be in the way during construction.

Beautiful property. Actually, you hardly have to do anything there and can (if you like it) move directly into a finished garden.

That is nice. One would have to make sure that the construction workers do not litter and make a mess everywhere.

Is the location of the planned house free of trees? Are existing trees allowed to be cut down? Trees that are too large - 1m circumference in my case - must not be felled without permission. Otherwise, it will become expensive and there will be a construction stop.
