hm well, I wouldn’t want to heat a bare, uninsulated house for a whole winter and then without plaster... Insulation on that and then maybe a protective foil on top? by the way, we also have rock wool plus an air layer.

Apart from that, how did the sales guy imagine that? Or rather, he probably doesn't care. Honestly, I don't think it's allowed at all to work with an unfinished wall structure.. right?
Are you building with a general contractor? Or individual contracts?
The rock wool must not get wet, so it can actually only go on once the clinker comes before it.

It wasn't detailed, but mine is without covering. It's individual subcontracting.

17.5 perforated bricks
16 cm insulation
1 cm air layer
11.5 facing bricks

But it turned out to be more like 3-4 cm air layer, as far as I could see at the window/door openings.

An air gap is only considered from 4cm upwards, but I would prefer 5cm to be on the safe side; however, the question remains whether an air gap is necessary at all?

yes you need it, because bricks can also get really wet, and the mineral wool is not supposed to be like that. Ergänzung: bzw es kommt auf den Dämmstoff an. Es gibt auch welche die werden ohne Luftschicht verbaut, da muss aber der Klinker anders verarbeitet werden, damit es eben nicht durchfeuchtet.
