We are not completely satisfied with our floor plan yet. Does anyone have any suggestions for improvement? I would like to possibly get light from the bathroom into the hallway upstairs, and in the large children's room, I would like a double window facing the front. However, I want it to still look harmonious from the front view. Regarding the shower upstairs, I am still unsure whether it might feel too oppressive if the shower wall is directly in front of you when you open the door. I would like the storage room to be a bit bigger. But I don't know if that would make the bedroom too cramped with a 70 cm deep wardrobe. Especially since there is a lot of space on the other side that is not really needed. The shower in the guest WC can be removed and the bathroom made smaller. I am grateful for any help.

How are we supposed to judge whether it harmonizes with the front view if we do not know the view?

I find the entire upper floor unconvincing. Completely cramped. How about placing the children's room towards the light and sun or the garden? The bathroom is almost too tight for the furnishings - 2 sqm wasted in the door area. On the other hand, the bedroom has too much space there, where it is not needed. The wardrobe is also too small. However, I do not have a satisfactory solution spontaneously either, as the staircase is in the way and takes up a lot of the upper floor in one direction. Overall, much space is unused, for example if you look at the living room.

I find the room layout "solid," many others here surely have good tips. But why such a terrible hip/gable roof? There is nothing worse for photovoltaics. I would currently plan photovoltaics at least for later, better to implement it directly.
