30min: that was me. But 30min including the 5+5 minutes walking and tram 15-20 min. Can also take the S-Bahn in 8 minutes. Or cycle 20 min. And I’m talking about the city center. Most things I have less than 10 min away from my door (walking minutes!). Not 30 min by car or first by bike or car to the station. For me a big difference.
But, that just wasn’t possible without constantly driving off again. Because it was a plumbing project and unplanned problems kept occurring, for which you needed parts that only a big hardware store or specialist trade have.
And I don’t want thawed rolls, I want fresh ones!
I have already lived in two small towns and our holiday property (we are not owners, it belongs to the family) is located in the Mecklenburg countryside. I have been there all my life. I can definitely draw well-founded comparisons in long-term testing and would always choose what we have, namely the outskirts of a big city.
