Thank you all very much for the numerous and different perspectives... despite Christmas :) . Of course, I fully understand the reservations and the "guilty conscience" that comes with some contributions. Since there were various opinions, we will deal with the topic very thoroughly. The seller will apparently only move out at the beginning of January, as it is not possible otherwise due to Corona - not to mention that it is winter right now. In case of doubt, we would therefore have a "shared flat". Indeed, on the one hand, you can be somewhat envious of the federal states with more generous funding pots, but by now I also know quite well the spread of real estate prices. Whoever then looks for a nice little house with some land in Munich or the surrounding area knows that it will definitely be a seven-figure sum. So you already need a top earner or two "very good earners" and a bit of financing luck to even get in the game. Of course, at these prices you also plan corresponding equity injections through subsidies - you almost have to. And it is also clear that we have not planned those in such a way that we could not do it differently in case of doubt. However, this "differently" is associated with a number of other disadvantages that I do not want to go into here. Don’t get me wrong: we earn well, but we can only do so in the south, so the higher real estate price is somewhat justified. Nevertheless, the state repeatedly creates incentives for homeownership especially for young families, and yet it is really hard to realize the dream of your own four walls.
We have no interest in doing anything "illegal" and certainly not crimes. We are far too responsible for that. However, when it comes to "optimizing" things, I believe that we as "ordinary citizens" also have the right to do so - and not only large companies or banks. When I think about how unscrupulously taxes are evaded here and taxpayers are cheated, I consider our "concern" at least morally "thinkable". But this goes too far away from the actual topic and the house building forum. So it is actually more about additional ideas or aspects (also legal ones, gladly) that we have overlooked in the previous consideration.
And no: I did not register here just to get a quick feedback and disappear. Since we now also have a home of our own, I will check in here more often and will certainly also help out.
Merry Christmas to you all!
