Hey I once improved my pocket money by cleaning, they had a vacuum cleaner like that and I didn’t like it, when switching it over the floor got dirty again and as you already mentioned if something gets stuck inside it gets difficult. The small filter which is also included between the hose and the wall got clogged pretty quickly (they also had a dog ) I don’t know if it was just the model that wasn’t good but something like that wouldn’t be for me.

Oh and to explain about things getting stuck the filter was so delicate that it easily tore with slightly bigger things (like a small Lego brick for example)

Hello everyone!

It's not that bad at all with the central vacuum cleaner, nor expensive.... I saw it at friends' houses and was blown away.

Another acquaintance installed it later during renovations, following the motto "Where there's a will, there's a way!"

Our system runs without problems and my wife is a real cleaning demon. Once I had to fish her underwear out of the pipe. HEHE with a pipe spiral, no problem.

best regards

A central vacuum cleaner is a real dream. Of course, you should install something like that during the house construction. It saves time and dirt and can be better planned. But retrofitting it still works well. If you do it the right way and the system runs, you will definitely not regret it. It’s really practical. In a pinch, you can also improvise. For example, my father simply made a hole in the ceiling of the basement, at the spot where our fireplace is upstairs in the living room, and routed the vacuum pipe upwards. So the vacuum is now hanging from the ceiling in the basement and picks up the fireplace dust from above. Everything works via remote control. Of course, it’s not a solution for the whole system in the house, but if you only need it for a specific spot, the solution is already very practical and above all cost-effective.

Hello,

We are building a 180sqm house this year and are also considering installing a ZSS. We have had one offered by Fawas and, without negotiation, we are at approximately €1350 for pure system and pipe costs. In the new build, I think the installation is easy to do. The price is perfectly fine for me. Especially since proper planning is included.

Regards
Joe
