You just have to be careful about what you compare. We were offered a Paul system from another company for around €9,000. Main difference: with the Paul, 5 supply and exhaust air ducts were planned by the company (1x basement, 2x ground floor, 2x attic), with Zehnder I received a complete ventilation plan with 12 supply and exhaust air ducts. Of course, that makes a big difference in price.

Problem with 2 apartments should be: One can theoretically hear the conversations from the other apartment through the pipe system A no go

For us, with both (Heinemann/Vallox or Zehnder) there were 15 lines with a total of 11 outlets or inlets...
And both were priced gross under €10,000 (9 months ago) tendered via an architect.

When you read here, some GCs really already demand horrendous prices.. Phew

It's shocking what prices are mentioned here (low), such prices can definitely not be achieved in southern Germany. If "newcomers" were to read this, they might get false impressions. The harsh awakening then always comes much later either at the order stage or, in the worst case, on the construction site in the form of additional charges. Unfortunately, what is written in this thread is not credible when it is claimed that a central system from a market leader like, for example, Zehnder would still be feasible nowadays for under 10,000 euros for a single-family house with a basement (without own work!). And I am not talking about general contractor prices but, of course, directly from the craftsman. My buddy recently paid about 15,000 euros and had obtained several offers. However, his house is also over 200 m² large.

Bookstar,

very strange.

If it exists today where it was installed. That is then past and actually happened and not a bait offer.

So if the part costs 3,000 euros and then the pipes and labor on top.
If you can end up at 10,000, that is not unrealistic for me.
