Ceiling height - how much should it be?

According to your building regulations, the ceiling must not be lower than 240cm. This also indicates that your 250cm will be the final room height.

Room height is a matter of taste and design. I like high rooms that are acoustically optimized (no echo). There are always disadvantages - for example, when the 3.8m ladder is no longer sufficient to change a light bulb.

I have 2.70m on the ground floor and 2.40m on the upper floor. I think that is fine, the rooms upstairs are also not very large.

We have 2.70m everywhere in the house and I didn’t want it any lower, it just looks nicer.

We also have 2.80m on the ground floor and 2.65m on the upper floor......I just can't imagine it any other way.
