We have a carport from Skanholz from the hardware store and assembled it ourselves. It has been standing for 4 years now and still looks exactly like when it was first built. In total, we paid about 2000 euros for it and I wouldn’t know why anyone should pay more for it.

Best regards

We have to be careful with the prices here. Otherwise, you end up comparing apples and oranges. Is it a single carport? Double carport? Is there a storage room included? Side cladding? What kind of roofing? What kind of side paneling under the roof? What wood thicknesses? What type of wood? There are significant differences. And the little details often make the difference in price here.

For the carport we finally built, there were also huge price ranges from 6000 to 13,000 euros. And the services were similar and comparable in all cases.

We will choose a custom-made product from a local installation company. Incl. installation, connection to the sewer system or cistern = €7300 for a carport with a tool shed 9m x 4.50m. We will do the painting ourselves after the installation.

Our model was called "Skanholz Friesland" and is a single carport.

Yes, I looked at that too - unfortunately, that's a bit tight for us.
How many people were you during the setup?

I searched a bit... Carport Rosenheim 2 by Mr. Gardner with the dimensions 7.60 m * 3.6 m including tool shed for €2400 - excluding roof covering. You would need 7 strips 5 * 1 m at €70 each for the roof covering - so another €500 on top + anchors... that would be around €3200 ~
It is laminated timber and has a wooden roof.
Alternatively, take a cheaper one for a total of €1400 (e.g. Nürnberg) with 5.1 m * 3.6 m and then place a separate shed behind it for €600?
