We also bought our plot of land from our municipality.
We have a building obligation within 3 years, as well as a subordinated land charge of 30,000€ in case we sell the plot including the house within 5 years.
Otherwise, we are at 75€/m² (fully developed), which is in the affordable range. Private plots (if there are any here at all...) are not sold any cheaper!
However, the plot was not tied to any savings bank or anything else.
We applied and were selected (at that time still unmarried and without children). But it could also be because I was born here in the village 29 years ago and have lived here continuously (except for a small break of 1 year).
