Then I must have misunderstood. I thought the interest-free period starts from the "disbursement" of the loan and that we can pay for the property with the money

and afaik you cannot pay for your property with the KFW money.

What kind of KFW loan is it? With the one we have (something that everyone can get because it is only about creating living space) you can pay for the land with it. With the subsidies regarding energy savings, it is apparently not possible.

We have a KFW153 loan.

But playing a role, the 100,000€ will surely be used up quickly during the shell construction.
Construction will start in May.

At the Sparkasse, we have 12 months of availability period.
