I didn't say "bad" - I merely see a downside in this configuration of the endosub-entry if the property ever changes owners and the tenant is then not a family member. Then an alternative tenant entrance is missing.

Idea for the roof is a shed roof over the northern and southern u-shaped wings and the rest flat; alternatively all flat.

Approximate hand sketch of the site plan is sufficient - it does not have to be a finished execution plan now.
