To me, it reads a bit like (relatively) little money is available and therefore own work is planned. I consider that somewhat risky for the trades you mentioned (heating, water, electricity) if you don’t exactly describe yourself as handy and say: "My father has a construction company", but only call yourself not untalented. Building walls with aerated concrete works even if you are untalented. However, without a site manager or supervision, a house construction should not be attempted. I would suggest checking out Ytong house building (or similar companies). Building a house is not that easy. Technical trades must be done by master craftspeople, etc.

And yes, the time… why do you have enough time to do something yourself that others working in teams take half a year to complete?

That all makes the house considerably more expensive than a standard house.

No one here will quickly calculate for you whether you could make it statically. Sooner or later you will need a structural engineer to fill out a form for the building application.

No, currently I’m just looking at what we like and how it can be implemented. When it comes to details, an architect and a structural engineer will be involved.

Thanks

Relatively little is just relative. I just want to keep it as inexpensive as possible, wouldn’t know what’s wrong with that... Lower costs = paid off sooner

There are plenty of certified tradesmen available and many of them allow you to assist or do part of the work yourself. My question was more about material costs and experience values like how much cable one usually ends up installing...

Well, why do I have time... that’s my business

Of course I need that, I was just looking for a rough estimate of what is needed. Or put differently, can I get by with around 10,000 for the beams or is it rather 25,000? From skimming the hall construction area there should be tables with reference values....

So, it’s not impossible. Three houses down they are also building as a family, father, son, wife, a thousand buddies, friends, only they are all professional craftsmen, the old carpenter, the son mason, etc. etc. Those are different conditions, they are also fairly quick, the efficiency is high.

Clearly, it will take longer than if I have it done. I don't want to do everything myself either, but as much as possible or as necessary.

You are not the first to consider building a house as a short walk compared to a marathon. But if only you are allowed to ask questions and expect sincere answers, then I hereby cancel the subscription to the questions. Good luck then.
