Building waterproofing of earth-contacting components

The water seeps into the gravel around the house and goes into the drainage.

I hope I may briefly join here and ask a question about drainage for a house without a basement. Our construction project is also on clay soil. (Unterbau ca. 100 - 80 cm kapillarbrechende Schicht, Sauberkeitsschicht, Dämmung unter der Bodenplatte, Bodenplatte wird von oben abgedichtet, Übergänge Ziegel zu Bodenplatte außen mit Dichtschlämme abgedichtet), work areas backfilled with gravel. Is drainage necessary here as well or is it only mandatory for basement floors?

Thank you! I don't know if that's far-fetched, but would it theoretically also be possible that the accumulated water in the workspace filled with gravel "washes out" the capillary-breaking layer beneath the floor slab and thus eventually leads to settlements? (Even despite drainage over time).

That's also a thought I had. That's why I would preferably backfill around the house with clay, in order not to build a bathtub...
