Building the house yourself from the first drawing to completion

The large building is an old manor house from the 19th century and has not found a new owner to this day. And is up for sale again today.

Unfortunately, I am currently not liquid. Otherwise, a neighbor skilled in craftsmanship and fishing would be a compelling argument.

The thread is already funny here. A doer reports about his respectable work and wants to share his experience and it's actually only about spelling and fishing. In between a few criticisms that building yourself is a no-go and that's it. Are DIY builders even welcome here in the forum? Or where do people with two left hands meet?
