I am glad that we have an expert. For example, he criticized the moisture in the roof structure at our place. Not so severe that the roof structure would have had to be torn down again, as the standards were only slightly exceeded, but it is now being monitored. Another example: For roof repairs, roof hooks were still installed, for example. That would probably have been overlooked, although they are required according to some building regulations. We would never have recognized/known either of these things. At our place, he also points out certain things to the construction manager in advance before errors or defects can occur. By the way, we don’t even need to be present at the inspections.

Calling in an expert only at the time of acceptance is already too late. What can they still see? Only the obvious things, which even a layperson can almost all see. The real defects are rather those that can no longer be seen superficially afterwards.
