Oh very interesting =) how much does a demolition cost approximately? Did the old house also have a basement? If yes, can you build on it?

Regarding your question. I hope I’m not talking nonsense now, but as I was told, if you have a neighboring property directly adjacent to a church/chapel, you also have to involve the diocese, because they manage the church property. I also think that in 2014 the church won’t put any obstacles in the way, but as I said, the church must also approve it in our case

Hi,

when I look at your income and expenses, you are currently living quite well.
Subtracting the contribution, including fixed costs like insurance and car, about 2,600 euros are spent each month.
This is NOT a criticism — just a different life plan so far.

Since you will have to significantly restrict yourselves when building a house/as homeowners, I recommend that you take this step now.
Financial restrictions are difficult — especially if you have previously "lived well." It takes a certain adjustment period to get your finances under control. That’s why you should start early enough. Also, start keeping a household budget from now on, where you record ALL expenses (including the bread roll around the corner).
Positive side effect — if it works, you can save even more.

500 euros per month for a 100,000 loan has already been mentioned. That means the 1,000 euros per month correspond to 200,000 euros (if you both earn full salaries).
In my opinion, you will need more than 200,000 euros for your project.
Demolition costs, construction costs, ancillary costs, and don’t forget — you still have no furnishings for the house (kitchen, furniture, etc.). That will take a good amount of money.

Desire for children and the associated loss of income have already been mentioned. Take this seriously — not only the loss of income but also the significantly increasing costs that come with children.

So — enough of the warning finger raised.

Yes, I definitely agree with you on that. We are spending quite a lot of money. But we told ourselves if not now, then when to see the world. But of course, we have to reduce that or completely stop it! I totally agree with you on that. We have also discussed the household book before and I even downloaded an app on my phone, but unfortunately, we haven't been very consistent in feeding the app yet. But with this equity, we wouldn't have any problems getting a loan, right? I actually planned to have only the shell construction done and finish the rest with family etc. I have an electrician master, painter, tiler, chimney builder in the family =)

Hello,

the house we demolished had exterior dimensions of 8m x 8m, was one and a half stories high, and fully basemented.

We had offers ranging from EUR 10,500.00 to EUR 32,000.00 - each as a fixed price including disposal.

We then did not take the cheapest provider (provider from Cuxhaven for demolition in the greater Stuttgart area ), but a provider from the neighboring town, who worked very cleanly and had made us an offer of EUR 13,500.00.

We also demolished the basement because on the one hand our house will have different dimensions and on the other hand we were not really comfortable with an old basement if anything should not work.
For example, moisture in the building: surely everyone would try to blame the old basement first...

Regards,

Dirk

Hello,

Do they know that too? Btw, materials also cost money; friends, acquaintances, and family must also be insured ;)

Rhenish greetings

Yes, I would also prefer the gentleman from the area, even if he would cost a bit more. :) The thing with the basement is great info and now that you mention it also somehow makes sense. It's also about warranties, etc... I hope you don't mind if I send you a private message sometime this week?
