Hello everyone,
we are currently considering how to best implement our garage idea. Specifically, we would like to place a garage on our gable side (east). It should be directly attached to the prefabricated house (without a basement) and on the other side to the property boundary. Dimensions approx. 3.50x8m
1st option: prefabricated concrete garage
2nd option: only build the garage side wall to the property boundary and screw beams for the roof onto the prefabricated house?? Is something like this feasible??
Would we need to make a complete floor slab then??
What other options do we have?? And should the garage generally be built before the prefabricated house is installed? What if the neighboring property is developed before us and the garage is also built on the boundary there?
Could a garage with a flat roof also be used as a kind of balcony for the upper floor of the house? What would need to be considered then?
Hope you can help us with finding ideas.
Best regards
Maria
