The seller says that we are not allowed to drill into the wall ourselves because of the energy base. What did you mean?

Hi,

what Sebastian meant is:

"it doesn’t matter at all what any salesperson thinks. With my property, I can do whatever I want, including making holes in the wall however I want"

Depending on how the wall is constructed, it should indeed be drilled by professionals.

The only problem, however, could be that the KfW standard may change. I’m not sure right now whether an exhaust hood is taken into account in the calculation. If you then fall below the KfW 70 standard but at the same time claim funding for KfW 70, you do indeed have a problem.

Best regards,

Andreas

And that does not change anything about the Energieeinsparverordnung calculation - although some people like to tell you that over and over again, but where should that be a problem?

Apart from the fact that it is my property, I did not mean it that way

Then windows should not be installed to open at all, because the owner could leave them open and waste energy

of course it changes the KFW calculation, since warm air is released uncontrollably. to what extent this really plays a role in the end is seen in the calculation. if you build without KFW, there is really nothing preventing the exhaust hood during construction. otherwise just afterwards/later.

It does not change anything about a calculation - especially since there are controlled flaps (which I would only install anymore anyway).

By the way, a chimney does not change anything there either...

extraction hood and chimney definitely mean that you need a pressure monitor. this results in not being able to turn on the exhaust hood when, for example, the chimney is on. this could cause problems, for instance, if everyone is sitting in front of the fireplace at Christmas and you are still cooking.
in a hurry, I couldn’t find anything about kfw either. it seems to be an urban legend. because I have read and heard about it several times (during construction), but I have never seen the regulation myself. it is probably just an additional effort that construction companies do not want to take on.
extraction hood is definitely the better option if you cook often.
