Are you buying installed sockets or journeyman hours? If the latter, you can complain, otherwise not.

Hahaha, there are all kinds of people.

And if the master craftsman and owner does it personally because of staff shortages, does it then cost twice as much?

The main thing is that the work gets done.
And if there are defects, he has to take responsibility for them, whether he does it himself or his apprentice.

Hello

That is certainly not correct. Especially not when I also consider the usual performance alongside the working hours.
On average, for example, apprentices in the SHK trade attend school 1.5 days a week and about 0.5 to 1 day for inter-company training.
Then the difference to the journeyman is almost no longer present.
As a craft business, we train apprentices to have Nachwuchs, not for cheap labor.

I go along with this.

It’s basically a question of proportionality. That’s why I don’t like billing by the hour either. It starts with someone taking a short break and having a smoke. In the end, those 10 minutes cost you €10 every time. If the socket costs one euro more now and those little breaks are factored in, they are practically invisible and no one complains. Unfortunately, you can’t generally handle it that way.

In the end, you have received an offer for a service and commissioned it. And you will get this service for this money, no matter how the contractor manages it. Shall we discuss women next? I hope not!!!!!!!! Once the service has been provided, the agreed remuneration is due!

With us, the boss and his apprentice did it. It balances out again ... like with the OP ... if he is still reading. His ears must be ringing
