I received the document three times during the construction period (individual trades). In doing so, I only added the trades that I had not already specified before (I made scans, they do have their reputation ...). And in the form "Fa. Müller, Musterhausen" and that was it. It was quick (for me) then. The stupid box is not enough for more info either, I am clumsy. No one complained to me about this procedure. In the last copy, I then indicated the completion and since then there has been silence.

Thank you all, I’m sending off my (somewhat botched) form and awaiting whatever else may come. We don’t have any helpers at all, at most we do small tasks ourselves (taping/painting here and there if needed). Parents live too far away and/or are too old or too deceased to help, and we’re building turnkey anyway. Hopefully, that shouldn’t cause too much fuss with them.

Small tip: Family members like dad and brother you can declare but don't have to pay anything. There are plenty of cases where the BG didn't pay anything because of family. I found this back then in the old Grünen Forum where the brother lost a finger and a case where the dad died in a construction accident.

But please don't ignore any letters, otherwise an estimate will be made and that will be expensive. We experienced that even though I wrote ready for occupancy. Then I had to run around until everything was clarified, including a home visit with a check of the invoices.

So what now? Yep. On paper and in front of all authorities and the bank, I am the sole builder and pay for everything. My partner and her family then have to pay with sweat, blood, and tears. In that respect, I am interested if I would also get anything from the BG if my partner gets hurt. After all, I need compensation if she can no longer work for me. Best regards Tolentino

You will then "get a slap on the wrist" from the BG. Best regards from the BG.

What do they say in the form that they will help but refuse payment. What don't you understand?
