Beams too short in the roof structure?

I am currently receiving my roof truss and I noticed that the middle beam is apparently too short and the carpenters simply stuffed some wood underneath so that the beam rests on the anchor.

What do you think about this? How do you deal with something like this? I am not even sure if the beam will actually remain like this in the end, or if it is only needed for the raising and will be removed later? The beam is pretty much in the center of the entire roof.

Regards!

Hello quattro

asking helps.
But it looks like the bar will go away again.
Otherwise: Not perfect, but a solution.

I asked around, the beam is required according to structural engineering. So it stays. Now I'm thinking about how to deal with it. I understand that it will hold like that. But somehow it still seems like a form of botched work to me. Also, it is not exactly on the anchor but sticks out a bit.

That there is wood underneath is not a problem, the beam is made of wood anyway... I would be more concerned about the overhang, in case a wall is going to go up there, or how is it supposed to look finished?

No, that doesn't really bother me now since the ceiling is being closed there. The carpenter said the anchor wasn't high enough at that spot. I have to measure it sometime. But as I said, it still doesn't sit completely on it. Complain or just leave it if it doesn't bother me much?

Leaving is still not a problem
