Hello.

We are currently figuring out how we want to design our bathroom in the attic.

The room has a fairly large floor area of over 16 sqm, but a eaves height of 1 meter. A north dormer is also planned.

Requirements: 2 adults who mainly shower; the woman occasionally uses the bathtub. Children are 2.5 years and 2 weeks old - water from above is disliked, bathing will only take place in the tub here. A toilet is also needed. A guest bathroom will be created on the ground floor, but for now we are planning 2 sinks in the attic.

I have attached our current idea. I have marked the 2-meter line as a dashed line. The window is a roof dormer (strictly speaking a gable dormer).

Thanks for your opinions and suggestions. Criticism welcome!

The sink in the entrance area I find very uncomfortable.

What is marked there with 50x40?

That is supposed to symbolize a small cabinet.

What should also be mentioned: The door can still be moved (in wall A or D).

One would have to see the context, meaning the floor plan of the entire floor. In my opinion, the bathtub and toilet should fit under the slant. If accessed via Wall D, the shower could go where the sink is now, and the sink then on the partition wall to the shower. Of course, this would only be possible if it is built with masonry and not supposed to be made of glass.

You do know that you must not be taller than 1.20-1.30m if you want to stand in the middle of your tub?

That's clear. But it is mainly supposed to be a bathtub for sitting. If someone wants to stand in it, that would basically be possible at the side that extends into the dormer.
