So what? Toilets aren’t disgusting or ugly as long as the lid is closed. And it’s definitely better than the BU’s suggestion: how do you expect to shower in about 50 cm? Those are two completely unnecessary short walls. A T needs space, and there is none here.

Where is the window?
Swap shower and toilet?!
Apart from the fact that you can also lie the other way around in the bathtub.

We actually haven't considered swapping shower and toilet yet, that would of course be the easiest. Only - what about the downpipe then? It can hardly be moved and would then be in the shower.

When it comes to pipe planning, I'm rather out, sorry I just think what's wrong with changing, it's still the same wall?!

We also have a 70 cm passage between the WC and the shower, which is really completely sufficient. Back then, we also considered which side the WC and shower should be on and were able to switch without any problems because all the pipes converge at the back. I would also go for the L-solution to give the shower more length; for that, I would make it only 1 m instead of 114 cm, then you gain space between the sink and the bathtub. And I would switch them if the view of the WC from the bathtub bothers you.
