Hello,

I have a 3.55m x 2.57m room that I want to design as a bathroom. The door must be on the left and the window on the right side of the exterior wall. The room dimensions are also fixed. So far so good.

No matter how long I tinker and move things around, I can't come up with a floor plan that I like. It specifically concerns the position of the walk-in shower / toilet / sink.

I want there to be a wall on the left and/or right of the toilet, as I don't like the idea of always having to reach back for the toilet paper. Ideally, the toilet and shower would fit on the window wall, but where to put the window? I can't use a narrow but long window because each window should have a roller shutter.

I have already looked at numerous floor plans, but often the room was square (which is not the case for me), and when it was rectangular, the door was usually on the long side (which is not the case for me). I feel like I'm going in circles and would be very grateful for ideas and suggestions.

New building? How many people? Where is the drain?

New building, 1 person, drain is variable, window and door however are not.

Pardon, window is of course variable. However, the only exterior wall is on the right, and a window that can be equipped with a roller shutter should find space on the wall.

You are not going in circles. I think the layout and furnishing are good as they are. Do you want to section off the shower at the front with glass? I would stretch the length of the shower as far as possible. Then have the partition wall made thicker so that on the shower side you have an integrated shelf a bit higher up, and on the toilet side a slightly deeper shelf for paper and such. Possibly a built-in element could also be considered there, where spare paper and brush can be hidden. If you build a wall in front of the shower, you can extend the wall to about 140cm, then have a glass door 80cm wide. Partition wall about 30cm, leaving a good meter for the toilet :) Nice sink opposite the toilet. Window would be variable... Regards

I have also considered making the shower longer, but why? In the end, it is enough if you can comfortably turn around once. Moreover, in case of emergency, I could use the extra space more sensibly with a shelf, etc. The idea of a thicker partition wall is a very good one, thank you for that!

Another alternative of mine would have been to swap the shower and toilet with each other. That would have the advantage that the path to the toilet is shorter and you go to the shower once a day but to the toilet more often.
