Hello everyone,

we are currently working on the floor plan and are wondering if our 9sqm are sufficient in the end-terrace house - therefore our general contractor made a suggestion (red walls) and I just made one via app (green walls).

In any case, we want a barrier-free shower without a door - the question now is which floor plan is a bit more "open" and the space does not feel too cramped?

Or widen the shower from 1.00m to 1.20m and put in a bathtub only 1.60m long? I planned the shower wall at 1.40m so that the water doesn't splash out too much.

What do you think?

The lower picture is better. Much better. Less cramped.

I also prefer the green version... except that the toilet immediately catches your eye when you come in. But that doesn't have to bother you.

Okay, then it’s probably 3:0 for the green option for me

A trend is already becoming apparent.

However, I wonder whether widening the shower and the resulting reduction of the bathtub will bring advantages or disadvantages?
My wife is about 1.60m tall, whereas I am about 1.85m.

In addition, our general contractor planned the shower partition wall with only 10cm - so probably made of drywall.
Isn't the wall usually built with [KS]?

A 1m wide shower is completely sufficient. We also have the meter and can even comfortably shower together.
I'm a bit unsure about the depth. We have 1.40m and that is rather tight. But we don’t splash around wildly. It works. It looks even tighter at your place. What do you have?

I would consider placing the toilet next to the sink to have a nice open space in the middle, where you can step to the window (which I would place centrally) and next to the tub a cabinet for the wine glass... or what is the "1"?

Since we’re at it, how does the rest of the house look so far?
