Bathroom design ideas for new constructions

Hello everyone,

we are currently planning our house and are having some difficulties deciding on a bathroom layout. There are two options. Maybe you have some tips or suggestions on which layout would be better or what could possibly still be changed. For Bathroom 1, I have concerns about the toilet being right behind the door. For Bathroom 2, the door is supposed to open towards the sink.

I vote for Plan B, in which the bathroom and sink are nicely lit, but with a changed door hinge so that the door opens in front of the bathtub.

One more note: You have the space, consider whether you want to stick with the 170 bathtub. I would never switch back to 170 again.

I agree with , and you can also plan a glass wall between the shower and the bathtub, e.g., mounted on the edge of the bathtub and, if more depth for the shower is needed, basically as an L down to the floor. This also makes the bathtub area appear a bit more airy and not so dark.

Option B also has the advantage that the window is easily accessible.
