The pipeline route for drinking water is not unimportant to us. The wastewater must be positioned so that there are no objections from the basic supplier of drinking water regarding the pipeline route we have proposed.

I have already seen construction sites where all the lines were laid in one trench. Just stacked on top of each other.

Variant 3 was a stimulus for thought. In my opinion, more effective than variant 1.

The text is about public spaces. I had my information from the BWB regulations. They want to impose this on private property as well. However, with a transfer shaft, everything behind the meter is in your area of responsibility and liability. In this respect, you can probably do whatever you want. However, in the event of a failure, the insurance might possibly hold it against you. And if, due to a chain of very unfortunate circumstances, sewage water were somehow sucked into the drinking water pipe on your property and this could be proven (practically impossible, I think, but who knows), you would probably be liable as well. It’s just a question of how likely that would be...

The architect is responsible. I am not one.

The thing with the "public areas" also surprised me, but it is what they sent us. We have been thinking back and forth for days now about what a better arrangement would be. If it is formally feasible, option 3 would be a good solution. The problem in finding a solution seems to be that the drinking water pipe (specified depth 1.5m) must lie under the wastewater pipe if they are parallel. That is hardly possible; I can’t tell the earthworker to lay the wastewater pipe at 1.80m. Many thanks already for your considerations.

Yes, especially because the sewage shaft may not be that deep. That would also need to be checked.
