Steep thesis that so many devices automatically come with a fitness tower. Especially since most of them are not needed unless you are doing semi-professional bodybuilding. But honestly, I don't see more than the 2 devices and ONE desk there. Can the device be folded up or pushed into the corner?

In the original post, an Atletica X10 was mentioned (would be censored because of the link). Anyone spending > €2,000 on a rack will (or should) not skimp on flat and incline benches. The Olympic bar, because the guided movement of the Smith machine is absolute cancer for squatting, lifting, and pressing.

I would not judge the seriousness of the training by the price of the fitness equipment. I know people who weigh 150kg and have bikes worth a five-figure amount in the garage.

What was it again about the "bold theses"?

My point: if he's somewhat serious about the device, he'll definitely need more equipment (flat bench) or might quickly end up in a bubble where he wants more (incline bench, barbell, dumbbells). Then it won't work with gym + study room.
And if the OP isn't serious about the device and it just ends up collecting dust, it would be a shame about the 2k€ and the space. Either he commits or he doesn't. For me, the specific product clearly looks like commitment.
5-figure bike value is also present here.

basically you are right. That’s why I was looking for a device that covers most things, so I don’t have to add much.

Except for the hyperextension, the device offers everything and does not require any additional space.

But yes, maybe a more space-saving version of individual devices makes more sense. For example, there are cable machines to screw onto the wall that require no space except for the user. I have also considered a cable crossover from one side of the room to the other that you can walk under, which also looks less bulky.

I also find something like this very interesting, which with a shallow depth of 70cm and a suitable width of 280 can be nicely placed against the wall opposite the double windows or the front side of the room. Unfortunately without a smith machine. It depends on what I want, of course.

(Picture removed again, because I don’t know if it is allowed. Or to post the product name. I can’t find the forum rules anymore)

How about a first furnishing proposal from you yourself? Then one could better imagine the problem. 20m² is actually not little space.

Should the room be more for sports or rather for office activities, what has priority?

Spontaneously, I would have placed the equipment in front of the sliding door and pushed the large desk with the short side against the wall between the windows, extending into the room. Then you sit with your back to the right wall. The crafting table then down against the wall.
