Hello, as already mentioned in the title, I have applied for a subsidy for my air conditioner, which has now been unprocessed for 3.5 months. Does anyone have experience with how long something like this takes? Also the question about the offer that I have attached. I can imagine that the installer’s offer is now more expensive – will that then be taken into account retroactively?

Regards

I don't know if I understand you correctly, but you can commission your installer after submitting the application. That means you could have already done this on 09/30/22, after you received the confirmation of receipt from [BAFA].

The offer is probably more expensive by now, yes. That is why people usually add a bit of a buffer when applying for funding.

We have been waiting for the approval for [BEG Einzelmaßnahmen Gebäudehülle] since mid-August, but have already started with the conversion.

The renovation measure is planned, the subsidy application for a grant has been submitted to BAFA, the craft company is ready - the renovation can begin! Or? Not quite, because often one small thing is still missing, the Zuwendungsbescheid for the funding.

So, does one need a Zuwendungsbescheid? I have also read that starting the project then proceeds at one's own "risk."

best regards

Processing time for windows was a good half year. I would assume that a project is eligible for funding if the energy efficiency consultant gives their "GO," but ultimately you bear the risk yourself.

I applied for the subsidy for windows in August last year before the change of the conditions. Last weekend, the written notification of the subsidy amount arrived.

Exactly, without a funding approval notice at your own risk. It is always a question of your own situation. If you already live in the house and can wait because you do not urgently need the air conditioning, you can certainly wait for the funding approval notice. Then you only have the risk of price increases.

If we (major renovation), on the other hand, were to postpone our renovation because of this, waiting would eat up a large part of the subsidy (price increases plus longer double burden of rent), so we start at our own risk.
