BAFA funding heat pump 2020

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, I found nothing about this in the forum, so I am asking you a question regarding BAFA funding for heat pumps which expired on 31.12.2020! We signed a contract with an energy provider for a cold local heating network in July 2020! Was - or is - an energy company also entitled to apply for possible funding for the heat pump through BAFA if they had submitted the application by 31.12.2020 at the latest?

Or is this funding measure only intended for private individuals?

Construction start would be May 2021 and that would still comply with the application conditions!

As I understand it, only you as a private person would have the authorization to do so. At least you would have had to commission/authorize the company to submit the BAFA application on your behalf. If this has not happened, then in my opinion the opportunity is unfortunately gone :(

So the eligible costs for the energy consultant can also be claimed by a company and "passed on to the customer," so that the customer cannot apply for them again ...

I had also ordered the BAFA eligible WP 08/2021 from the construction company and initially assumed they would take care of everything. Until I asked again at some point and found out that the funding expires in 12/2020. Only at the end of November did things suddenly start moving, as I said, after my inquiry. Unfortunately, that doesn’t help you now :(
