Bad half-height tiles. Floor tile as a shelf on the pre-wall.

We also had the so-called wiping edge tiled. It doesn’t look bad at all. But be careful with continuous extensions: if there is a mirrored cabinet above the washbasin, you end up with a very unpleasant surface to clean that you can’t reach. And for the edges when tiling, I would definitely use a stainless steel edge.

Thanks, could you maybe take a photo? I don’t want a mirrored cabinet anyway, just a simple wall mirror, my girlfriend wants a mirrored cabinet but then it won’t be available.

Then just take a mirrored cabinet and recess it into the wall
Looks like a simple mirror and you still have storage space

I honestly find mirrored cabinets quite retro. In bathroom mirrors, you want to check a shaving or hairdressing / makeup result. I don't see any compelling connection to storing adhesive plasters, headache tablets, and toothbrush supplies. From my point of view, these are two different needs for which I see no advantage in a combined instrument.

Yes, because I find it nicer and pointless as a scrub edge.

The OP asked for opinions - and I am sharing mine.
