Well, in the office thanks to PC + 3 monitors, I have a comfortable 24°C right on time for the 10 o'clock break. At 3 pm, it's then 25-26°.
In the rest of the house, it's constantly 22-23° thanks to automated shading and summer bypass of the [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung].
In the parents' area, even a bit less.

But something is wrong here. Oil sump heaters only kick in when it is really cold outside. On most devices, you can also deactivate them (pins on the outdoor unit) if you do not intend to heat with the system. My (Mitsubishi) system has its own electricity meter, and it has not moved at all during months without using the system. (It only counts in 0.1 kWh increments, but that should be sufficient.) On the other hand, I am very positively surprised by the power consumption: The (single) system is installed in an old building with 140 sqm on one floor, half of it up to the roof, and all doors open. Last week it ran daily from 12 pm to midnight, with outside temperatures of 28-30 degrees and inside temperature of 24 degrees, and it cost me exactly 9 euros. I think that is a bargain for the luxury. We can sleep well, don’t have to ventilate so much at night (noise and pollen are annoying then), and I don’t have to think twice about whether to turn on the computer or cook a casserole.
