What has been messed with on a Shelly?

I personally wanted switches and not an app; if eventually, it comes to that, the 20€/pcs will be replaced by Shellys etc.

That’s exactly why I chose the Shellys. I wanted switches and an open system to be able to connect it with other sensors/actuators as well. The app is nice and all, but more a means to an end.

I have installed Somfy radio roller shutters and venetian blinds. In combination with the TaHoma Switch, you can control your shutters in the new building via app or voice control and create scenarios.

Please don’t be mad at me, but that is exactly what I would avoid. It is a purely radio-based solution and restricted to one manufacturer. It may be a viable option for an old building if you want to get rid of the manual belt winders, but for a new building, I only see disadvantages.

In our new building, all motors are also operated via radio solution; it works great and I am very satisfied with it. I see no disadvantage in it.

And that is also the most important thing: satisfaction. Maybe the OP should simply specify his concrete requirements again.
