Arrangement of ceiling spots in the bathroom okay like this?

You are right about the shading. Of course, a separate light is needed at the mirror, independent of ceiling spots. Light sails or similar.

That means with the above arrangement (possibly with a spot in the shower) and an illuminated bathroom mirror there should be no problems with shading, right? Or should we better leave out the spot at the washbasin completely?

Thank you for your comments! I have now added the 6th spot in the shower and also drawn in the bathroom furniture.

Option 1 has the spots distributed relatively evenly in the room and good light on the tall cabinet. However, the spot in the shower is not quite centered.

Option 2 has the spots placed lower in the room, so that the spot in the shower is almost centered. However, there is less light on the tall cabinet.

Which of the two alternatives would you prefer?

Variant 1 ... as said, right and left spots switchable separately ... then you always see them as a row of spots and don’t really relate that to the shower.
