The shower is drawn 90cm wide. The windows are not fixed. I’m not a professional and, as I said, I experimented and found this to be the best, but if other suggestions come along, that can of course change. At the moment we still have a changing table for our daughter (which will still be there when we move in), so the space at the bottom would also be suitable for that, but clearly, a wider shower would also be an idea.

True, putting the washing machine in the bathroom is worth considering, thanks! Does the bathtub necessarily need an installation level along the long side, or can the required (what all does that include... fresh water and waste water... what else?) fit into the wall towards the shower?

Okay, I only looked at it on the smartphone, so the millimeter marks vs. the pen thickness are hard to see.

Don’t you have a changing table in the children's room? Is this supposed to be just an additional one? I would consider whether to plan the bathroom around the changing table you will need for how long (from move-in)?

How important is a partition for the toilet to you? At the moment, the half-height wall only prevents looking at the toilet. If that is not priority 1, try to move the tub where the toilet is. Rotate the toilet 90 degrees and place it rather on the lower right in the plan.
Then you would have used the existing installation wall.
Regarding the height, you have to be careful. If wastewater needs to be vented through the roof, this wall cannot be pulled across the entire width only up to the shelf height... then it has to go somewhere up to the ceiling, I believe.

Ok, I will ask about installing the bathtub (we have an appointment with the structural engineer today anyway). But the wall to the shower goes up to the ceiling as well (I’m unsure from your wording whether you assume that or not).
Currently, the only changing table is in the bathroom (we find it practical because you have running water immediately if needed), but that’s not a priority; it would just be a nice bonus in this version. When the changing table is no longer needed, I would want to put a cabinet/a shelf there.

To me, the toilet doesn’t necessarily have to be separated by the half-height wall, but my husband really likes such partition walls and would like it that way (I also think it looks nice for decoration purposes).

Yes, or rather it should just be a note that it might need to be vented through the roof.

Regarding the toilet, I only meant whether you need to be careful with the positioning and partition wall so that it is not visible or anything like that. If that is not the case, then you have more freedom in the placement. As I said, either you reshuffle everything anew or try moving the bathtub and toilet downwards... then the top is not so cramped and you can also think about enlarging the shower.

Yes, I need to talk to my husband again about how important it is to him that the toilet is not so visible or if it is actually only about the wall itself. Thank you anyway for the suggestions.
