Hello,

so we bought a condominium with 114sqm and selected the flooring. Flooring upgrade charges from strip parquet to wide planks at €40/sqm net. The floor is glued down and we were really excited, but now it has been installed and in the showroom it was really uniform, but here there are strong brightness differences. Attached are a few pictures.

When we mentioned the irregularity, we were told that they generally do not mix but lay package after package in order as they come, and it will still be oiled. The company is actually very reputable and correspondingly expensive, but I would have sorted it better myself.

Yes, exactly, that’s why you shuffle and pay attention when laying down. Phew, looks ridiculous. Now the question is whether this is to be tolerated. I almost fear yes, it is.

It's basically only about the 3 dark boards. But I will not accept it like this. Let's see how the company views it. The other rooms are fine.

What some people find annoying. For me, such irregularities are what give natural coverings their charm.

Does the contract say anything about color deviations?

I claim the opposite.

Basically, we also like the rustic style, hence the floor [Natur Pur], but the three dark boards and this small piece are disturbing, or am I exaggerating?

That’s a matter of taste. Following my personal taste: Yes, you are exaggerating. Once the room is furnished, it quickly becomes unnoticeable.
