Dear forum users,
I have an 11-year-old Faktum kitchen and would like to do a bit of remodeling. Some of the white Applad fronts are no longer very nice, and I would like more wall cabinets, which is easily possible given my room height. I also don’t like the handles anymore. Three fronts (2 drawers, dishwasher) have fallen off and can no longer be mounted because of the stretched out drill holes (I might have to try wood filler again, maybe that will work...). And one of my two roller shutter cabinets is broken as well.
I wonder if it would be possible to mount Metod fronts on the Faktum corps, or if it would be worth completely switching to Metod for the wall cabinets. But what should I do then with the base cabinets that are also no longer very appealing? It’s not important to me that the upper and lower cabinets match — rather the opposite.
Oh, and one more question: I have six corps each 60 cm wide and 141 cm high. So far, they all stand normally on the floor. I would like to stack them as very tall tall cabinets (room height 3 m, so that would easily work out). Below are the refrigerator, built-in oven, and a pull-out pantry cabinet; above would then be the freezer (but that doesn’t matter to me, I don’t use it that often). Is there anything against my idea? And how are the corps fixed when stacking?
Thanks for tips and suggestions!
Best regards, Andrea
