How old was the tree? I mean, it's possible that the harvest fails once, but apricots are generally frost-resistant/hardy.
The tree was 3 years old. It had some fruit, but even more were eaten by the wasps. Then last year there was a late frost that killed all the blossoms and half of the branches. It didn’t get better, rather worse, so we dug it up in August. That’s how it is with gardening: you have to part with plants when the time comes.
